Visible Local ("we," "us," or "our") is a web design service that builds websites for local businesses. We operate at visible-local.com and contact prospective customers via SMS. Our phone number is +1 (737) 217-9195.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Business information: Business name, address, phone number, and category sourced from publicly available directories (e.g., Google Maps).
• Contact information: Your name, phone number, and business details if you fill out our contact form or respond to our SMS messages.
• Usage data: When you view a preview page, we log that the page was viewed (no personal identifiers beyond your lead record).
• Intake form data: If you purchase a website, we collect your confirmed business name, address, phone, hours, and any notes you provide to build your site.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To send you SMS messages about our web design services (see Section 5 for opt-out).
• To build and host your website if you become a customer.
• To respond to inquiries you send us.
• To improve our outreach and service quality.

We do not sell your information to third parties.

4. How We Store Your Information

Your data is stored in a secured database (Supabase/PostgreSQL). We use industry-standard access controls and do not store payment card data — payments are processed by Stripe.

5. SMS Communications

Data we collect: If you provide your phone number — via our opt-in form, contact form, or by responding to an SMS from us — we collect and store that phone number in our database.

How we use it: Phone numbers are used solely to send you SMS messages about Visible Local's website services, including free website preview notifications, follow-up messages, and responses to your inquiries. We do not use your phone number for any other purpose.

We do not share phone numbers with third parties for marketing. Your phone number is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or other businesses. It is only passed to Telnyx (our SMS carrier) for the purpose of message delivery.

Message frequency: Prospective customers receive a maximum of 3 outbound messages unless they initiate further conversation. Message and data rates may apply.

How to opt out: Reply STOP to any SMS from us at any time. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages will be sent. Reply HELP for assistance.

Data requests: To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your phone number from our records, email us at privacy@visible-local.com or use the contact form at visible-local.com.

6. Cookies & Tracking

Our preview pages do not use third-party tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or advertising pixels. We log page views internally for operational purposes only.

7. Your Rights

You may request to view, correct, or delete the information we hold about your business at any time by contacting us via the form at visible-local.com or by replying to any SMS from us.

8. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate:

• Telnyx — SMS delivery
• Stripe — Payment processing
• Supabase — Database hosting
• Vercel — Website hosting

Each service has its own privacy policy governing their handling of data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
