By using any Visible Local service — including our website at visible-local.com, receiving SMS messages from us, or purchasing a website — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
Visible Local provides website design and hosting services for local businesses. Our standard offering includes:
The standard website fee is $499 (one-time). Domain registration (if selected) is billed annually. Payment is due in full before work begins.
All payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store payment card information.
Your website is hosted for 12 months from the date it goes live. Before your hosting expires, we will contact you via SMS to offer renewal. If hosting is not renewed, your site will be taken offline.
Renewal pricing will be communicated at the time of renewal contact. We reserve the right to adjust renewal pricing with notice.
The $499 fee covers the initial website build based on the style and information you select during intake. Post-launch edits are not included. You may request edits at an additional cost to be quoted at the time of request.
You retain ownership of any business information, photos, or content you provide to us. By providing content, you grant us a license to use it solely for building and hosting your website.
Visible Local retains ownership of the website design, code, and hosting infrastructure. Upon cancellation or non-renewal, content you provided can be exported upon request.
Visible Local contacts prospective customers via SMS to offer free website previews. Message frequency is limited to a maximum of 3 messages per prospective customer unless you initiate further conversation.
Reply STOP at any time to opt out of all SMS communications. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply.
You agree not to use Visible Local services to host content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or infringes on third-party intellectual property. We reserve the right to take down websites that violate this policy without refund.
Refunds are available if requested before your intake form is submitted and work has begun. Once the site is built and delivered, all sales are final. If we fail to deliver your site within 10 business days of intake submission, you are entitled to a full refund.
Services are provided "as is." We make no guarantees regarding uptime, search engine rankings, customer traffic, or revenue generated from your website. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to keep your site online during your hosting period.
Visible Local's liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
